Prior to the Project Taxi event I got a very exciting email
off the lovely Gemma Glover asking if I would like to attend a NEXT showcase to
have a sneak peak at their AW16 shoes (which can I add are all beautiful!) I
was kindly aloud to pick a pair of shoes to wear to the event, which was a
great way of seeing all of the shoes styled and being worn by everyone attending. (I certainly
have my eyes on a pair of leopard print heels having seen how gorgeous a few of the girls had styled them) The idea of the collection is to bring more to the
table than just a pair of shoes, where style doesn’t have to be the only
priority. NEXT have pulled together a gorgeous range of shoes from boots and
flats to super high heels which all bring comfort as well as style. Whether you
are rushing to work or spending the day shopping NEXT have certainly got your
back this season and you no longer have to grin bare the pain coming from
underfoot!
Upon arrival to the event I was greeted and offered a drink (A very yummy cocktail may I add) and all of the shoes were displayed in the centre of the venue making it super easy for us snap happy bloggers to photograph the shoes in their best form. There was also fun things to get involved with and plenty of photo opportunities!
I had the most amazing night and I feel super grateful to of
had the opportunity to be involved in such an amazing showcase. Oh and not
to mention the “posh nosh & Cocktails” which were thoroughly enjoyed by
all! It was also great to have the chance to network with other bloggers who I hope
to see more of soon!
Just before leaving the event I was handed a goodie bag
featuring a gorgeous handbag and other autumn winter accessories which will be
featured across my social media very soon!

(Funny story - For the event I was staying over in a hotel because I don't live that close to London. As I was getting ready for the event I suddenly realised I had left my entire make up bag at home! Yes I had a slight panic attack.. almost a melt down, as I didn't want to head to my very first blogger event bare faced! So I ran (YES ran) to MAC which was luckily right near my hotel in some hope I could at least buy some of the basics to get me through the night, but the amazing @kellieanncoveneymua saved the day and gave me a full make over free of charge! I have never met someone so kind! with such great makeup skills for saying she mastered my look in about six minuets! I recommend you all go and check out her Instagram and pop in and see her at the MAC in Stratford London.)
